Junes
bio
Junes, a singer-songwriter, perfectly embodies Montréal’s next wave of musical talent. With her electro-pop style, she tackles contemporary themes over melodies that channel the energy of Dua Lipa, the depth of Billie Eilish, and the freshness of Angèle.
A 2019 jazz graduate from Cégep de Saint-Laurent, Junes took flight with her debut EP Ok in 2021, quickly catching the attention of media outlets like Salut Bonjour, Radio-Canada, and SiriusXM.
Determined to stake her claim, she released her first full-length album, Jamais assez, jamais trop, in fall 2024. The project drew praise from magazines such as Cool! and personalities like Catherine Pogonat and Nicolas Ouellet, while giving her the chance to perform at the Festival en chanson de Granby and M pour Montréal.
With Jamais assez, jamais trop, Junes continues to reveal more facets of her captivating musical universe, cementing her place as a rising force in Montréal’s vibrant music scene.
