Proud of its Abitibi roots, L’Ours (Label & Touring) is the new little brother of R-Management, a major independent player in the French-language music industry since 2004. It is a bold, vibrant label aiming to bring a breath of fresh air to the local music scene.

L’Ours remains true to its Abitibi origins and closely connected to Algonquin culture. The guiding principle is: Let’s be the bear and come out of hibernation to take part in the renewal!

While artist management will continue to be part of the services offered, L’Ours will now also handle promotion and the production of recorded material, as well as tour production, in addition to operating as a booking agency. It therefore benefits from R-Management’s solid experience and, at the same time, takes over the artists from the R-Musik catalogue, including Fuso, Raphaël Denommée, Steve Veilleux, Grenadine, and Beta.

In the fall of 2008, building on the expertise gained through working with various record labels, R-Management created the R-Musik label, which has since become L’Ours – Label & Touring. This service offers artists sound production and licensing opportunities.

Since 2005, we have programmed more than 3,000 concerts within the festival network and major touring circuits (rock, pop, and folk venues, as well as corporate events). We have also contributed to the touring schedules of international artists in Quebec, as well as to the production of special events. Our live production experience has played a significant role in increasing the visibility of our artists across Quebec and in developing a strong network throughout the national and international Francophone market (France, Belgium, Western Canada, and the UK).

We also acknowledge our long-standing collaboration with the Preste agency, from 2005 to 2015.
