Fuso
bio
Originally from Milly-La-Forêt, France, Fuso has been immersed in music since childhood, raised on a blend of reggae and hip-hop. After moving to Montréal’s South Shore, his passion kept growing, even if the path wasn’t easy: at 12, he was denied singing lessons due to a vocal cord malformation. But that never stopped him. Inspired by surf culture and travel, he picked up the guitar and carved out his own sound, shaped by artists like Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, and Orelsan.
He dropped his debut album in 2016 and quickly found international traction with the single “Love,” which spread across thirteen countries. Following a 50-date tour across 2018–2019 and the release of Danser dans la Tornade (2020), Fuso cemented his place on both Québec and international airwaves.
His third album, Leela (2023), highlights standout collaborations with Caracol, Rafaëlle Roy, and Gros Big, while tracks like “Frère,” “Ici maintenant,” and “Coffee” climbed Québec’s radio charts in 2024 — confirming that Fuso’s momentum is only growing.
